For Sale in ebay (Exotic Motors Midwest) on 3/31/2018 for $299,900.00
Described As:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/222904392395?ul_noapp=true
Exotic Motors Midwest is pleased to offer this beautiful 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4! As a US specification car, this handsome GTC/4 spent its entire life in the mild climate of southern California, essentially under the care of one longtime owner. Ferrari service shop and dealer Francisco Mir of Santa Monica, California delivered this vehicle new in March of 1972 to a longtime owner in Los Angeles who kept the car for 34 years. In 1998 the owner retained renowned Ferrari specialist Bruno Borri to conduct a substantial mechanical restoration that involved a rebuild of the engine, transmission, and rear end.
In 2006 the Ferrari was acquired by the previous owner a marque expert who sought to complement the car's low mileage and outstanding mechanical condition with a mild cosmetic restoration. Between 2008 and 2009 over $40,000 was invested in work that included a comprehensive repaint in its original color of Marrone Colorado, as well as the installation of new carpet and leather upholstery, also in the original tan livery. Receipts from this work were carefully documented, resulting in a two inch stack of records that accompanies the car. These receipts add to an impressive array of documentation that also includes a Massini report, original bill of sale, warranty card and a complete registration history.
Other than the cosmetic work this GTC/4 features a high degree of originality. The car still wears its original glass, headliner, dash surfacing, Becker Mexico radio, and a complete toolkit that nestles comfortably in its plastic undertray, a fragile and scarce piece that rarely survived years of frequent use. Currently showing less than 37,002 miles, this wonderful GTC/4 is strikingly original and a complete example whose provenance is further bolstered by its low mileage and limited ownership. It is doubtlessly one of the most superb surviving examples of this unique Ferrari model that brought GT sensibilities to the Daytona.
