Marrone Colorado over Beige Interior - 45,745 Miles
San Francisco Sports Cars offers this very special Ferrari 365 for sale. Only 505 GTC/4s were built between 1971 and 1972. This car was delivered new to famed collector Bill Harrah in 1972 with just one Bay Area owner since 1973. It has been looked after locally by Modena Motors and Dino Motors.
It is unrestored, well maintained and largely original throughout. The lacquer checking is consistent with what is believed to be original paint. The interior is all original with exception of the drivers seat which was reupholstered by Acker Leather Works in San Francisco.
The color is Marrone Colorado, which is a light metallic brown over a beige interior and beige carpets. The dash and center console are finished in their original mouse hair.
The 320hp 4.4L Colombo V12 engine shares its block with the Daytona but its 6 twin choke 38 DCOE Weber carburetors are side drafts which allows for the dramatically sloping hood.
The 5-speed gearbox attaches to the differential via torque tube and brakes are discs at all four corners.
This C4 was equipped from the factory with both options: Borrani wire wheels on Rudge knock off hubs and full Connolly leather trimmed seats in place of the standard leather & fabric.
Asking Price: USD 379,995. Leasing and finance options are available - trades are gladly considered.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-ferrari-365-gtc-5/
This 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is one of approximately 500 examples built and was completed in March 1972 for delivery to Bill Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada. It is said to have resided in the San Francisco, California, area from 1973 until 2019 and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021. The car is finished in brown over tan leather upholstery, and power comes from a 4.4-liter quad-cam V12 that features six Weber carburetors and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a quad-exit exhaust system, Borrani wire wheels with Rudge knock-off hubs, four-wheel independent suspension, power-assisted steering, air conditioning, power windows, and a Becker Mexico AM/FM/cassette radio. A May 2021 service included an oil change and a brake fluid flush. This 365 GTC/4 is now offered with a Marcel Massini report, service records, and a clean Arizona title.
The 365 GTC/4 entered production in late 1971 and was built on the same assembly line as the GTB/4 Daytona. The body was designed and manufactured by Carrozzeria Pininfarina utilizing steel and aluminum panels as well as a fiberglass firewall and floor pans. This example is finished in Marrone Colorado and features a black tail panel, a retractable antenna, side marker lamps, a driver-side mirror, grille-mounted fog lamps, and pop-up headlights.
The 15” Borrani wire wheels feature Rudge knock-off hubs and are mounted with 215/70 Michelin XWX radial tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are mounted beneath the trunk floor. Both steering and braking systems are power-assisted. The right-front upper ball joint was replaced by Exclusive Motorcars of Arizona in March 2020, and new fuel lines were also fitted. Rear self-leveling shocks were installed in October of that year, and a brake fluid flush was performed in May 2021.
The 2+2 cabin features front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench trimmed in tan leather along with matching door panels and carpets. The driver’s seat was reupholstered by Acker Leather Works of San Francisco under previous ownership. Features include air conditioning, power windows, a Becker Mexico AM/FM/cassette radio, and Coco Mats.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges monitoring oil pressure and coolant temperature. A set of auxiliary gauges is mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles.
The 4.4-liter Tipo F101 AC 000 V12 was rebuilt in the early 1980s and features an aluminum block with cast-steel cylinder liners along with aluminum cylinder heads housing dual overhead camshafts. Six Weber 38 DCOE side-draft carburetors are positioned on the outer side of each cylinder bank to permit a lower hood line than the downdraft setup used in the Daytona. Rebuilds of the carburetors and a valve adjustment were performed in March 2020, at which time the engine mounts were replaced. Photos taken during the service can be seen in the gallery. An oil change was last completed in May 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
The Marcel Massini report lists the factory color combination, equipment, and history.
