Described As:
We are pleased to offer 1972 USA model Ferrari 365 GTC/4 s/n 15485, a great-running, great-driving, well-documented, lower-mileage 365 GTC/4 that is ready for a long weekend run or a Cars & Coffee meet with her new owner. From new in Rosso Bordeaux with a black leather interior and color matching burgundy carpets, this C/4 starts easily, runs and drives well, pulls to redline and goes smoothly through the gears once warm, as shown in our video. The paint has been redone sometimes in its life and so shows well, with only a few chips and the usual minor stress marks at the front corner of the hood, while the black leather is in very good condition, is still soft and supple, just as the dash and carpets are also in excellent condition, for a car that is now fifty-one years old.
Ferrari 365 GTC/4 s/n 15485 sits on an excellent set of 7 1/2" x 15" Borrani 4075 wheels with hexagonal US model knockoffs and wears a set of set of Bridgestone P215/70 R15 tires with a correct 7 1/2" x 15" Borrani 4075 spare wheel and tire. 365 GTC/4 s/n 15485 still has all of the US smog equipment including the smog pump, the diverter valve, the air injection tubing and rails and even has the CO fuel to air mixture tubes! Even better, because she is pre-1975 production Ferrari, 365 GTC/4 s/n 15485 is smog exempt in the Peoples Republic of California and every other state. With superb looks and a striking resemblance to the legendary Daytona, the 365 GTC/4 offers both exceptional comfort and stunning performance. With more cabin space due to its elongated chassis, the 365 GTC/4 can accommodate the occasional rear seat passenger(s) and their luggage and whisk them all away in quintessential Italian style. Impressively outfitted with ZF power steering, power brakes, a radio, and sumptuous Italian leather, the 365 GTC/4 was purpose-built to carry people across any continent at speed and in total comfort. The body and paint shows well, while the black leather, the dash and carpets are also in very good condition. C/4 s/n 15485 is rust free and surprisingly dent free. As long term Ferrari enthusiasts know the 365 GTC/4 has the best exhaust sound of any of the Enzo-era Ferraris and so has a wonderful exhaust shriek through the entire RPM range. As an Enzo-era Ferrari the C/4 doesn't have the dreaded cam-belts of the Fiat-era Ferraris and so an annual service requires only a fluid change and perhaps a new set of spark plugs! There is a hair line crack in the rear window glass but a new replacement rear glass is only $1,500. Today C/4 s/n 15485 has seen only 49,132 miles of motoring over the last fifty-one years so a mere 963 miles of driving per year. An excellent opportunity to own a Gentleman’s high speed Grand Touring Ferrari, priced right at $167,500 or best offer.
