We are pleased to offer 1972 USA model 365 GTC/4 s/n 15617. This stunning 365 GTC/4 is finished in gorgeous Mercedes dark Navy blue over a mirror straight body and fitted with a very elegant tan leather interior with contrasting black carpets, a stunning color combination. Has had only three well documented owners in the last twenty years, with extensive documentation over the last decade. This show quality 365 GTC/4 has been restored and maintained to the highest level with voluminous service records.
The full tan leather interior is in excellent condition, as are the dash and center console “mouse fur” and the leather–trimmed black carpets. The engine, transmission and differential numbers are all correct for this chassis. The car makes excellent power with no smoke and has excellent oil pressure. The suspension is soft and compliant, and the brakes stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is good, both when warm and cold. This is a wonderful driving car, and thanks to Factory power steering, all the controls are light to the touch and operate harmoniously. Perhaps no Ferrari of the era achieved such a pleasant balance between performance and luxury, combined with the wonderful Ferrari V–12 exhaust note, as did the 365 GTC/4.
The car sits on beautiful, refinished Cromodora mag wheels with “as–new” Pirelli 4000 tires. 365 GTC/4 s/n 15617 comes with the full set of books, the jack and the full “briefcase” tool set. Priced very right for this stunning color combination at $119,500.
