Feb 2006 offered on www.carclassic.com. A particularly interesting car: the second from last of the 500 manufactured, it is one of the best 365 GTC/4. Original mileage is 109 900 km. This vehicle was perfectly restored at 108 400 km. The engine was complete overhauled (crankshaft, cylinders, pistons, valves are all new) and has since run only 1500 km. The gearbox has also been fully serviced. As the mechanics were removed from the vehicle the body was entirely restored from bare metal and repainted in its original smoke grey metallic colour, brakes were restored and the chromes redone. The general condition is pristine, as far as the interior is concerned with new pure wool carpets and beige leatherette trimmings. The original black leather interior elements were conserved, which was a very good decision as it’s condition is pristine and shows a very nice age patina. The car is perfect to drive, so we wonder if it is really the case for a Ferrari addict not driven purely by performance to buy a Daytona, when this 365 GTC/4 is such a pleasure to drive with it’s power steering, air-conditioning and dual brake system. This vehicle is available now in France with current French registration.
